Trinity Video Seminary — TVSEMINARY — International School of Theology. From experiment to global movement

There was a time when biblical education was available to only a few. In 2005 we set a bold goal to make it available to many. What started as an experiment eventually became a global ministry compassing many countries, cultures and languages.

1998

Residential training started

In September 1998 the seminary opened doors to the first students

In May 2000 we produced our first graduates!

Bachelor graduates

We started out bachelor degree program that in 2004 produced its first graduates

The first course was recorded on video

Our first course was recorded at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Illinois, USA). It was “Christian Ethics” taught by John Feinberg

2007

Transition to distance learning format

In 2007 TVSEMINARY completely switched to distance learning format. We kept filming new courses and searching for the best teaching methods

2014

Tvseminary.org website was launched

We gradually developed instructional design for our online courses and in 2014 opened the first courses for enrollment on tvseminary.org web-site

2014

First 100 students enrolled in our online courses

Two months after launching tvseminary.org web-site we discovered that over 100 students were taking our courses!

2016

Course accreditation

We do our best to provide and continually enhance the quality of TVSEMINARY education programs. In 2016 a number of our online courses were accredited by Euro-Asian Accrediting Association (ЕААА)

2017

Online Bachelor degree program

It took us several years to develop an innovative and high-quality Bachelor degree program that includes 70 online courses.

2016-2022

International Development

We began to translate our courses into other languages: Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, Tamil. Our plan is to open Master degree program in Chinese. TVSEMINARY has became an international school of theology!

2022

Graduate Program in Russian

For a number of years we worked hard to create Master level courses in partnership with TEDS (Illinois, USA) and other seminaries, and in 2022 a few of them were completed and made available to Russian-speaking learners.

At the moment thousands of students from various Christian denominarions and from more than 50 countries are studying at TVSEMINARY. Our curricula include over 90 online courses in Russian, English, Chinese, Uzbek, Portuguese and other languages. Over 5000 certificates and diplomas were issued to our graduates! Looking back we praise God for His guidence and look forward with optimism!
